Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter was an American actor who was famous for the films Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. The actress has received many awards for her performance which includes an Oscar. The talented actress began her career in acting by performing on stage, through a variety of Broadway and Off-Broadway projects. Passionate about acting since her school days she played Helen Keller in a play in the fifth grade. In the fifth grade, after having mumps she lost her hearing in the left ear. She did not let it stop her from performing. When she was a teenager, she studied drama in college before moving to New York City from Pittsburgh to follow her dreams. She met Beth Henley in an elevator and the pair collaborated in Broadway Crimes of the Heart which was Hunter's debut film. After moving from Los Angeles she tried to obtain film roles and was offered an acting role as a support in Swing Shift. In the three decades since she was a part of the film, Holly Hunter has been in many films, series and television films. Holly Hunter is a Hollywood Walk of Fame famous person and has been awarded the Women in Film Lucy Award.
